A Voice for Every ChildStanding Up When It Matters
Education is not enough when the systems around children remain unjust. That is why my work has never been limited to classrooms alone. I have stood on the streets, sat on hunger strikes, and raised my voice — again and again — for those who could not raise their own.
Key Agitations & Movements
- In 2015–16, I went on a 14-day hunger strike for the rights of 3,000 workers under the Samata Doot Project. It was exhausting. It was necessary. And it worked.
- In 2024, I participated in agitations at the Nagpur Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislature, fighting for welfare schemes that affect thousands of ordinary citizens.
- In 2025, I led a hunger strike for the rehabilitation of slum dwellers in Panvel — families who had nowhere to go and no one fighting for them.
- In July 2025, a 9-day hunger strike helped resolve the issues of over 2,700 people.
- In February 2026, I took to the streets again — this time for a young girl who had faced serious injustice and needed someone to stand by her.
I do not go on hunger strikes for recognition. I do it because sometimes, it is the only language those in power choose to hear.
